ABOUT US

• Wastricks is a brick manufacturing company established in 2020 by 4 high school students and aims to solve the problem of waste accumulation in an eco-friendly yet profitable manner. With a population 1.39 billion India generates 62 million tonnes of waste every year. Seeing to this concern we at Wastricks have devised a method to solve the problem of waste accumulation by recycling and converting it into usable forms like bricks. Our company produces bricks in an innovative way that involves the use of recyclable material like plastic, PPE, textile, paper waste and use chewing gum as the binding agent. Since plastic and paper waste is cheap and found in abundance we are able to produce bricks that are half in prize and double in size when compared to conventional red bricks. Wastricks has created a mechanism that converts waste into bricks under one roof. Since all our operations are performed by machines it also helps us to bring down our selling cost and this also gives us an edge over the conventional brick kilns.

• Our product not only brings a revolution against the harmful red bricks but also helps the construction industry evolve and grow. Our bricks have also brought in change in the rural areas of india by providing cheap, good quality bricks but has also given people a reason to encourage building up of better infrastructure and homes. It is estimated that India’s construction industry will reach 473 billion dollars by 2024. Seeing this massive jump in demand, our product helps the industry to overcome its problems of pollution, harms caused by conventional bricks and high construction cost, giving us an edge among our competitors and convectional brick kilns.
